1 Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using LTMart (www.ltmart.org), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service, our Privacy Policy and any additional guidelines or rules published on the platform from time to time.

If you do not agree with any part of these terms, you must not use LTMart.

2 About LTMart

LTMart is an independent, fully homegrown B2C e-commerce marketplace founded and self-developed by a Zimbabwean entrepreneur, Terence Mware, operating from Harare, Zimbabwe.

LTMart is a marketplace, not a manufacturer or direct seller of the products listed by third parties. We facilitate transactions between buyers and sellers — local sellers across Southern Africa and verified international suppliers from China — but the seller remains responsible for the products they list, sell and ship.

3 Eligibility

To use LTMart, you must:

• Be at least 18 years of age, or have the consent of a parent or guardian.
• Have the legal capacity to enter into binding contracts.
• Not be barred from using our services under the laws of Zimbabwe, Southern Africa or any other applicable jurisdiction.
• Provide accurate, current and complete information when registering or placing orders.

LTMart reserves the right to refuse service, cancel orders or close accounts that do not meet these requirements.

4 Account Registration

You may browse LTMart without an account, but you will need to register to place orders, track purchases or sell on the platform.

4.1 Your responsibilities

• Keep your login credentials secure and confidential.
• Provide accurate account information and keep it up to date.
• Notify us immediately if you suspect unauthorised access to your account.
• Accept responsibility for all activity that occurs under your account.

4.2 One account per user

You may not create multiple accounts to abuse promotions, evade restrictions or mislead other users. LTMart may merge, suspend or close duplicate accounts.

5 Buyer Terms

As a buyer on LTMart, you agree to:

• Provide accurate delivery information, including a valid address and contact number.
• Pay the full amount for any order you place, including the listed product price and shipping fees.
• Inspect your order on delivery and report any issues within the specified return window.
• Use products only for lawful purposes and in accordance with the manufacturer's guidance.
• Not engage in fraudulent activity, chargebacks without cause, or abuse of the returns process.

LTMart reserves the right to cancel or refuse any order — including after payment — if we suspect fraud, pricing errors, stock inaccuracy or violations of these Terms.

6 Payment Terms

LTMart accepts the following payment methods:

• Visa and Mastercard
• PayPal
• EcoCash mobile money
• Cash on pickup at selected collection points

All prices are displayed in US Dollars (USD) unless otherwise stated. Payment must be completed before an order is dispatched, except where cash on pickup is offered.

Payment processing times and any applicable bank or mobile money fees are set by the payment provider and are outside LTMart's control.

7 Shipping & Delivery

Delivery times vary depending on the seller's location and the destination. As a general guide:

Delivery estimates are not guarantees. Customs clearance, courier delays, public holidays and force majeure events can extend delivery times. LTMart will do its best to keep you informed of significant delays.

8 Returns & Refunds

If your order arrives damaged, defective, incomplete or significantly different from the description, you may request a return or refund within 7 days of delivery.

8.1 Eligible returns

• Products that arrived damaged or broken in transit.
• Products that are materially different from the listing description.
• Products that are non-functional or defective on arrival.
• Wrong item or wrong size delivered compared to your order.

8.2 Non-eligible returns

• Change of mind after delivery (unless the seller offers it voluntarily).
• Products that have been used, washed or altered.
• Items marked as "final sale" or clearly non-returnable on the product page.
• Intimate items, personalised products or hygiene-sensitive goods.

Approved refunds are processed back to your original payment method within 7 – 14 business days, subject to the payment provider's timelines.

9 Seller Terms

If you register as a seller on LTMart, additional responsibilities apply.

9.1 Seller obligations

• Provide accurate business information, product descriptions, prices and stock availability.
• Only list products you have the legal right to sell.
• Fulfil accepted orders promptly and within the timeframe you advertise.
• Package products securely to protect them in transit.
• Respond to buyer questions and resolve disputes professionally.
• Comply with all applicable laws in Zimbabwe, Southern Africa, China and any country you ship to.

9.2 Seller verification

All sellers must complete LTMart's verification process. Local sellers across Southern Africa are typically verified through document review. International sellers from China are subject to our full vetting process — including physical factory visits — before being onboarded. LTMart reserves the right to reject or remove any seller who does not meet our standards.

9.3 Seller fees & payouts

Commission fees and payout terms are set out in your seller dashboard and are subject to change with reasonable notice. Payouts are processed to your nominated bank or mobile money account after successful order delivery, less any applicable fees.

9.4 Prohibited seller behaviour

• Listing counterfeit, stolen or illegal products.
• Misrepresenting product quality, origin or condition.
• Manipulating prices, reviews or stock to mislead buyers.
• Contacting buyers outside LTMart to bypass platform fees.
• Sharing buyer personal data with unauthorised third parties.

Violations may result in suspension, permanent removal and, where appropriate, legal action.

10 Wholesale & Bulk Orders

LTMart supports wholesale and bulk orders for retailers, resellers and institutions. Wholesale orders are subject to the following:

• Minimum order quantities may apply depending on the product and supplier.
• Wholesale pricing is offered at LTMart's discretion and may differ from retail listings.
• Lead times for wholesale orders are typically longer and will be confirmed in writing before payment.
• Wholesale orders are generally non-cancellable once production or shipping has commenced.
• Returns for wholesale orders are limited to defects or incorrect items only.

11 Prohibited Items

The following items may not be listed or sold on LTMart:

• Counterfeit, replica or pirated goods.
• Stolen property or items obtained illegally.
• Weapons, ammunition, explosives and dangerous materials.
• Illegal drugs, controlled substances and drug paraphernalia.
• Live animals, endangered species or protected wildlife products.
• Human body parts, blood, organs or bodily fluids.
• Pornographic or sexually explicit material involving minors.
• Products that infringe any third party's intellectual property rights.
• Any item that is illegal to sell or ship under the laws of Zimbabwe, Southern Africa, China or the destination country.

LTMart may remove listings, cancel orders and suspend accounts that violate this section without prior notice.

12 Intellectual Property

All content on LTMart — including the brand name, logo, design, code, text, images, graphics and algorithms — is the exclusive property of LTMart or its licensors, and is protected by applicable intellectual property laws.

You may not:

• Copy, reproduce or redistribute LTMart content without written permission.
• Use the LTMart name or logo in a way that suggests partnership or endorsement without our consent.
• Reverse-engineer, decompile or attempt to extract the source code of our platform.
• Upload content (including product images or descriptions) that infringes the rights of others.

By submitting content to LTMart — such as product photos, reviews or shop descriptions — you grant LTMart a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to use, display and promote that content on our platform.

13 Limitation of Liability

LTMart is a marketplace that connects buyers and sellers. While we work hard to maintain a safe, high-quality experience, we cannot guarantee that every listing, product or transaction will be free from error or dispute.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, LTMart is not liable for:

• Products sold by third-party sellers, including their quality, safety or legality.
• Delays caused by customs, couriers, natural events or other events beyond our control.
• Indirect, incidental, special or consequential losses.
• Loss of profits, data or business opportunities arising from your use of LTMart.

Where liability cannot be excluded, LTMart's total liability to you is limited to the amount you paid for the specific transaction giving rise to the claim.

14 Dispute Resolution

If you have a dispute with a buyer, seller or with LTMart itself, please try to resolve it directly with the other party first. If you cannot reach a resolution, contact LTMart at support@ltmart.org.

LTMart will review the issue based on the information provided by both parties, our policies and any applicable law, and will aim to reach a fair outcome within a reasonable timeframe.

Where a dispute cannot be resolved through our internal process, it will be handled under the laws and courts set out in Section 17.

15 Termination

You may close your LTMart account at any time by contacting us. We may suspend or terminate your account if:

• You breach these Terms of Service.
• We are required to do so by law.
• We suspect fraud, abuse or harm to other users or to LTMart.
• Your account has been inactive for an extended period and is being cleaned up.

Termination does not affect any obligations that arose before termination, including orders in progress or outstanding payments.

16 Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms of Service from time to time to reflect changes in our services, technology or legal requirements. When we make significant changes, we will update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page and, where appropriate, notify you through the platform.

Your continued use of LTMart after changes take effect means you accept the updated terms. If you do not agree, please stop using the platform.

17 Governing Law

These Terms of Service are governed by the laws of Zimbabwe. Any dispute arising from or relating to the use of LTMart that cannot be resolved between the parties will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Zimbabwe.

Because LTMart serves buyers and sellers across Southern Africa and China, we aim to resolve disputes in a fair and practical manner that respects the laws of the countries involved.
